100. HISTORIC GALVESTON & QUILT SHOPS TOUR $124
Start the day off with a wonderful stop at the Painted Pony ‘n Quilts shop, a must-see in La Porte! Then on to the coast for one of Galveston’s most incredible historical homes, Bishop’s Palace—constructed of steel and stone (surviving the Great Storm of 1900 virtually unscathed), it soars three stories tall with steep roofs and long sculptural chimneys. Enjoy a delicious lunch at an island favorite, Sunflower Café, then finish the day with a stop at Cactus Quilts in Texas City with a great selection of the best fabrics from many companies before returning to the convention center.
