LA LONGARM MACHINES PROVIDED IN CLASS
Thanks to Baby Lock, Gammill, and Handi Quilter for providing sewing machines and longarm machines for our classrooms. We could not offer such wonderful classes without their generosity. Irons are provided courtesy of Rowenta®, Panasonic® /Brewer, Oliso®, Maytag®, and Clover.
CANCELLATION OF A CLASS BY MANAGEMENT
Occasionally, because of illness or other emergency, a teacher has to cancel a full class at the last minute. We try to find a replacement teacher, but give you the option of a refund, taking the same subject from a different teacher, or an exchange for a different class depending on availability.
All classes and events will be at the Conference Center in the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.
Class size varies according to the teacher’s preference and the room size. Most classes have no more than 25 students and some have fewer.
You must get the teacher’s specific permission before photographing or recording his or her class. Do not attempt to take flash photos of the slide screen. The photos will not turn out, and the flash distracts everyone else in the audience.
Classroom 14 of the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center is “command central” for all educational offerings at Festival. It’s also the place to check for classroom lost & founds, to turn in any refund request or special request, and to check in as a Teacher’s Pet.

Festival teachers need help taking roll and passing out materials in class. To be selected as the Teacher’s Pet for a particular class you must enroll for the class, check the Teacher’s Pet blank on the enrollment form, and fill in the number of the class for which you want to be Teacher’s Pet. The first to respond, after enrolling to take the class, is the Teacher’s Pet for that class. You will be notified by mail if you are the Pet. You will receive the 2018 Quilt Festival/Chicago show pin or a Teacher’s Pet pin of your choice from the past at the conclusion of your class and duties.
